Clara has been up to a few new things:
Bathing in her "big girl tub." She enjoys this much more than the baby tub because she can sit up, play with her bath toys, and splash. (Thanks Kate and Evan for this idea!)
Sleeping with her booty high in the air.
Playing with toys.
Getting dressed up--ok, that's nothing new! She has been lifting her arms toward people when she wants held or picked up, and we think she's starting to give us hugs because she wraps her arms around us when we're holding her.
Standing by herself (we have to be alert though because she can let go at any moment).
AND.....Crawling!! She's a go getter and is getting faster by the day. Along with crawling has come a bit of an attitude and temper. She doesn't like be constrained, being told no, or having things taken away from her. Yikes! She really is turning into a "little person." Is there anything cuter than a baby in jeans?!
We have that piano! It has been one of the girls' favorite toys. . .. It was handed down to us from my sister-in-law and I'm so glad. I haven't seen it in stores—I've looked for other people.
ReplyDeleteClara is so cute too! Don't they grow up too fast? Peyton just turned one and has pretty much left baby status behind. . .Momma is so sad!
