Toddler Brunch

I hosted the second annual Baby Brunch today. There was only one baby there (and two more on the way) so it was really a Toddler Brunch. We had 7 Mommies and 9 little ones in attendance. This year, there is no organized picture to show everyone who was there. I tried to catch everyone in at least one picture, but I'm not sure I was sucessful.
Mommies - Kate, Abby, Amanda, Lela, Laura, Missi, and myself
Kiddos - Evan, Lesley, Kyra, Emma, Caleb, Collin, Conner, Cole, and Clara; there are also two more on the way! Lesley and Kyra will be each be welcoming a new sibling in October.

Amazing what a difference a year makes!! Last year the babies just laid on a blanket while the Mommies ate and socialized. I even used my fine china last year. This year it was paper plates and cups. I knew we'd be chasing and feeding toddlers, and there was no sense in worrying about nice dishes!

We tried our hardest to get all the kids in a picture. It's also a big difference Clara's age group (on the right) and the soon-to-be three year-olds - Caleb and Kyra on the left. They sat nice and patiently while we tried to round up the other kids. They were probably wondering why noone else could sit still!

There she is! I think Kyra is tired of sitting by this point.

Clara loved baby Conner. She would point at him and say "baby, baby." She loves babies, and she'll make a great big sister in a few years. I had to watch her closely because she would cover him up, play with the toys on his carseat, and try to poke him.
