The cabin fever has set in at our house, and we're all SOOO ready for spring. A couple of weekends ago, we took Clara to the Underwater Adventure exhibit at Crown Center in an effort to get out of the house. It was pretty crowded and a little overwhelming for her. After about 20 minutes in the crowded exhibit she had reached her excitement limit. We let her run in the skylink again between Crown Center and Union Station, which she loved.
The first thing she spotted as we entered was a really big applesauce (octupus). It was so big, I couldn't get her in a picture with it.
Clara had been asking to play outside all day, and we keep reminding her that it's cold. This afternoon we were all dying to get out of the house again, and Chipotle was our destination of choice this time. Bad timing though because we left in the middle of a thurnderstorm and got soaked running into Chipotle. We also tried to do some shopping after dinner in the rain and cold--that didn't last long! The rain is a nice change of pace and makes me think of spring...will it ever come?
