Party planning

We've been doing a different kind of party planning at our house.  Clara is going to two birthday parties this month, and we're trying to prep her that 1) it's not her birthday and 2) she will not be opening the presents.  Wow--both shocking concepts to a 2 year old! 

These are the conversations we're having today:

Us:  Clara, who's birthday is it today?
Clara:  My birthday!
Us:  No, it's Lesley's.  We are going to take Lesley a birthday present.
Clara:  No, my present!
Us:  No, we're going to Lesley's birthday party, and Lesley will open her presents.  They are not Clara's presents.
Clara:  Lesley presents?
Us:  Yes, good!
Us:  Are you going to open presents today?
Clara:  Yes, my presents!
Us:  No, they are Lesley's presents.

I expect Clara will do fine...right up until the first gift is opened, and she realizes she can't help.
