So blessed

Our girls are so blessed to have four grandparents who ADORE them and are very involved in their lives. It's been such a joy to see how much our parents love Clara and to see her grow to love them. She LOVES going to her Gamma and PawPaw/Bompa's houses and loves helping us pack her suitcase for overnight stays.  All four grandparents were at the hosital to meet Avery when she was born.  I can't wait to see her relationship with her grandparents develop like Clara's has.

The proud Grandpas.

The proud Grandmas.

Even Great Grandpa Ed was there when Avery was born!
Grandma Karen even figured out how to entertain two girls at once - a skill Matt and I are still trying to master!

Matt was off the week I was in the hospital, and my Mom came and stayed with us the second week.  She spoiled us with her good cooking.  She made us chicken and noodles (with homemade noodles), roast beef, mashed potatoes & gravy, canneloni with Italian sausage and white sauce, baked potato soup, apple studel, and orange cinnamon rolls.  Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!!
Matt's parents have been spoiling us too by bringing over dinner for us from all sorts of yummy places.  And both Grandma's have had fun shopping for girl clothes.  Avery has been wearing some of Clara's clothes (it's fun to get to reuse and remember the outfits Clara wore), but it's also nice for Avery to have some new outfits as well.  Thanks to our parents for everything they do for us!
We are all very blessed.
