Very Special Visitors

Eve LOVES Matt.  She just lights up around him. 
I think she likes me as well, but I don't get the same smiles out of her that Matt does!

We were so thrilled to get to spend an afternoon of our Chistmas break

with our favorite friends from the North.  Matt's college roommate Joe and his family came for a visit!  We normally visit them once a year (and had for 9 years running), but we didn't make it to Minneapolis in 2013.  So we were so excited to spend time with them!

Clara & Cade played together like brother and sister. 
With some friends it takes the kids a while to warm up together. 
However, these two were instant pals and played completely independently together!

Of course we had to get a group pic!

And so it goes...notice Wes shoving Cade away, and Clara hugging Avery who is not at all happy about it! 
Eve can't figure out what all the fuss is about!
