We took our little Jayhawk to Late Night at KU on Friday. It was so fun to have her there with us, even if it meant leaving as the men's team took the court. We almost made it to the end, there was about half an hour left to the night by the time we left. Clara loved looking around at all the colors and lights and making friends with the people next to us. She's very social and smiles and coos at anyone who will smile back. Clara loved it when we cheered, and she got excited too. It gets so loud in Allen Fieldhouse, and it seemed even louder than normal now that we had a little one with us. They showed some great video montages of the men's basketball team, and of course, the crowd just went wild. We covered Clara's ears during the loudest parts, but she didn't seem to mind the noise. She even fell asleep at the end when it was the loudest. It's so fun to include her in our traditions. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Go KU!
