Clara loves walks and really wants to walk Elise. She loves carrying around Elsie's leash and will chase Elsie with it. This evening we let Clara "walk" Elsie inside. Elsie pulled the leash with so much force that it quickly pulled Clara over. Clara was determined and each time after getting pulled over, she would not let go of the leash and would stand back up and keep going.
We've been working with silverware and plates and teaching Clara to feed herself. The table manners aren't going so well and usually end up with me getting very frustrated. Not sure if you can tell in the above picture, but Clara actually has the spoon backwards in her mouth and is showing it off to us. This was after she dumped the full bowl of spaghetti-Os in her lap. We've made some progress with her feeding herself baby cereal, but it's been a challenge.
Not the face you want to see when you're dressed in suit and almost ready to head out the door. Chocolate chip muffins may be reserved for weekends only.
She's drinking a lot more milk recently. She loves drinking out of the sippy and just chugs it down. We think the warmer weather is probably making her more thirsty. I think sleepy babys are so sweet. I love this look on her - it's just so precious. This has been the napping signal for a while now. As soon as we see the first eye rub, we put her down for her nap. She's still napping twice a day, and she seems to need the sleep.
