We recently moved Clara into a booster seat.
We got the okay from her pediatrician at her 5 year appointment since she is now 40 inches.
She can't yet buckle herself in because of the angle of the seatbelt fastener. However, it is nice that she can unbuckle herself and get out of the car on her own.
The funny part is that Avery asks every time we get in the car if she can sit in Clara's seat.
We always tell her she's not old enough...that she has to be four. This conversation happens time and time again.
This week in an attempt to convince us once again, the conversation went something like this:
Avery: Can I sit in Cwara's seat?
Matt: No Avery, you have to be four to be in a booster.
Nicole (trying to apply some logic to the situation): Avery, hold old are you?
Avery (thinking very hard): I'm getting big!
She normally responds telling us that she's two, but she's realized that is a losing battle.
So this time she decided to tell us that she's getting big!
Still no booster seat for Avery...
