Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls to a local pumpkin patch not far from our house last weekend.  I have deemed this the hidden gem of pumpkin patches.  We've heard of a couple of others in the city that overly crowded and even heard a story of someone waiting in traffic for 45 minutes to get to the Louisburg Cider Mill!  I think the experience looses some of the fun if you're crowded with people or having to wait in traffic.  This pumpkin patch was very low-key and not crowded.  The girls were able to run around and enjoy all the activities including a corn maze, hayrack ride, zip line, and a "cow-terpillar train" (you can thank Matt for the clever name).

How does this work?

Let me show you!

Yee Haw!

Not at all scared!  Wish there had been an adult zip line....

The little ones loved this maze!

In front of the corn maze - we went with two other families from our church small group.
Kids (left to right) - Avery, Clara, Luke, Austin, and Aaron

Avery and Luke - She one month older and a bit taller.
Luke is smitten with her.
We've been told every Sunday morning he asks for "Avwy" on the way to small group.

Cute!

Where's his head?

The cowterpillar train...there they go!

We're not sure why this girl has two sets of hands.

I'll take this one Momma!

They had to go on a second ride!

These mosters sure look familiar!
