Sometimes I wonder if the things we are trying to teach her are sinking in. It seems like we harp on the same things over and over - don't whine, stop being bossy, asking nicely and say please, and you need to listen.
Clara was sitting at the table on Sunday as I was making her lunch, and she told me:
"When I get in trouble, I get consequences. When I don't listen, I go to time out."
Yes! Maybe we are getting through to her afterall! I guess we'll stick with what we are working towards - trying to consistently teach her how to be a well-behaved, polite and respectful little girl.
